- The festival remains open during rain unless organizers advise otherwise.
- Pets are allowed but must be kept on leash.
- Water fountains are available; bring a refillable bottle.
- The entire site is non-smoking.
- The festival is apolitical — political flags and symbols are not permitted on site.
- When posting about the event, please use the provided Canva template and add Chợ Đêm MTL as a collaborator on your content.
Emergency Evacuation
What to do if an evacuation is announced or an immediate danger requires leaving the area.
- Stop operations immediately when festival management, security, or emergency services announce an evacuation.
- Stay calm and follow instructions from emergency services, security, and your team lead.
- Direct visitors to the nearest safe marked exit. Keep evacuation routes clear and do not return for personal belongings.
- Do not move vehicles or equipment unless emergency personnel or festival management authorize it.
- Assist children, older adults, and people with reduced mobility without putting yourself at risk. Alert security when additional help is needed.
- Go to the assembly point identified by the on-site team and remain there until you are accounted for or authorized to leave or return.
- For immediate danger, call 911 only when it is safe to do so and provide the Bassin Peel location and clear details.

Entrance Organization
The South Platform is the main entrance for VIPs, guests, media, content creators, and the public.

- When you arrive at the main entrance, please go to the first table on the right marked "VIP/Media".
- Please inform the other attendees of your name and affiliation.
- Collect your tickets and enjoy the festival!
- If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our volunteers at the entrance or any of our volunteers located throughout the site.
What to Expect
Chợ Đêm MTL is more than just a night market: it's a carefully curated experience designed to showcase a vibrant and evolving culture. Your presence will make this evening even more meaningful.
Upon Arrival
- Proceed to the Media/VIP table upon arrival. A volunteer will identify your guest type: Content Creator, Photographer/Videographer, Traditional Media (TV crews), or Sponsor/VIP Guest.
- Photographers and videographers must be on the guest list — walk-ins are not accepted. If confirmed, report to Trang at the Volunteer tent for further instructions.
- Your attendance and coupon collection will be logged — ensure this is marked before leaving the table.
Passe Duo Gourmand — Streetfoodfest
- If your Zeffy ticket includes a Pass Duo Gourmand: your ticket will be scanned and you will receive a physical Pass Duo Gourmand coupon to present at Streetfoodfest.

- If you arrive with a pre-checked Pass Duo Gourmand coupon: it means Streetfoodfest already scanned your Zeffy ticket on their end — simply have it checked off at the entrance.

General Policies
The shared code of conduct for everyone working, volunteering, performing, selling, or participating at Cho Dem MTL.
Everyone involved in Cho Dem MTL is expected to help create a welcoming, safe, respectful, and professional festival environment.
- Treat guests, colleagues, vendors, artists, volunteers, partners, and community members with respect.
- Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, threats, violence, and unwanted physical or verbal conduct are not tolerated.
- Follow festival instructions, site rules, emergency procedures, health requirements, and directions from authorized team leads.
- Work safely, remain aware of your surroundings, and report hazards, injuries, conflicts, or concerning behaviour promptly.
- Use festival spaces, equipment, credentials, and confidential information responsibly. Theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access are prohibited.
- Do not work while impaired. Alcohol, cannabis, and other substances must never interfere with safety, judgment, or professional conduct.
- Keep work areas clean, protect the site and surrounding community, and dispose of waste in the appropriate streams.
- Red chairs and tables are property of the site and must not be removed under any circumstances.
- AVQ is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of merchandise or equipment. Security guards are on site nightly (Wednesday to Monday).
Concerns should be reported to your team lead or festival management. Cho Dem MTL may restrict access, end participation, or remove anyone whose conduct puts people, operations, or the festival environment at risk.
