Site Flow and Map
Cho Dem starts at the South Quay and exits through the North Quay.
The South Quay hosts workshops, bars, entertainment, games, exhibitions, and merchants to create a Vietnamese night-market atmosphere. The North Quay continues with restaurants, beer, stage events, and Vietnamese artisanal products and services.

Setup, Festival Days, and Teardown
Important dates, arrival windows, vehicle movement, and teardown rules.

- Exhibitors must be ready 30 minutes before opening.
- Exhibitors must not close before the end of the event.
- Exhibitors must be present for the entire event unless organizers advise otherwise.
Merchandise, Payments, and Electricity
Rules for approved inventory, payment methods, electrical equipment, and cleanliness.
- Only items approved in the contract may be sold; inventory changes are strictly forbidden.
- Items sold must be listed in French. Additional languages are optional.
- Send a photo of each item so Cho Dem can feature it for visitors.
- Accepting both cash and credit/debit cards is strongly recommended.
- Square or another POS-style card processor is recommended.
- Unauthorized electrical equipment and generators are prohibited.
- Electrician fees caused by unauthorized equipment may be charged back to the merchant.
- Keep the sidewalk clean and collect all belongings at the end of the event.
Space, Representation, and Booth Presentation
Merchant space allocation, display standards, and presentation expectations.
- AVQ has full discretion to allocate exhibitor space.
- Vendors must respect their assigned 3 m x 3 m space.
- Vendors may not share tents unless explicitly written in their contract.
- No flags may be displayed because the event is apolitical and celebrates Vietnamese culture in Montreal.
- All merchants are grouped under the big tent to create a market atmosphere.
- Keep your kiosk visually attractive, tidy, clean, and bright enough for night operations.
- Bring plywood for uneven ground, a cart for moving items, and a tarp for rain.

Car Access, Parking, Alcohol, Insurance, and Security
How merchants should access the site and manage risk.
- Vehicle access inside the site requires an access pass displayed on the dashboard.
- Vehicle access is prohibited starting one hour before event start.
- Bring your own moving cart; the festival does not provide carts.
- Suggested paid parking: Parking Garage M205 - Arbora, Stationnement Indigo M229, Soleil Parking, AutoParc Stanley.
- Alcohol consumption while on duty is strictly forbidden.
- Merchants should carry appropriate insurance coverage.
- Security guards are on site overnight from Wednesday to Monday, but AVQ is not responsible for theft or breakage.
